When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We use Contact Forms on this site, this is to allow you to contact us easily and Vice Versa. We collect your Name, Email Address, Telephone Number and your Message. You should not enter any information into your message which you would consider to be of High Value, such as your Bank Account details or National Insurance number. The information that you enter into the contact form is emailed to Owen Owen Trust. In the short term a copy of the information is stored within the website.

If any breach does to take place, we will inform those people identified within the information disclosure without undue delay. The data that we will hold is considered to be of low risk.
