On Tuesday 10th March just before the lockdown we were incredibly lucky to hold our Physiotherapy/Falls Prevention event at the Holiday Inn, Liverpool.

The event had been organised by one of our trustees Rosie Lochiel-Owen and was a great success.

Sarah Norris (pictured) the Clinic Director of the Physiotherapy Centre gave a presentation to 30 attendees covering a range of topics including:-

Living longer
Is 70 the new 60!
Cancer
Dementia
Increase in falls
Pelvic health issues
Diabetes

Sarah also discussed exercise guidelines with the group and answered questions on how active everyone should be. She was
a very knowledgeable and engaging speaker.

The event was so well received that the Trust intend to replicate it in another region as soon as it is safe to organise events.

After the Physiotherapy event we held our afternoon tea where Rosie had the chance to meet with our beneficiaries. A lovely afternoon.
